What you're looking at

The 2010 F-150 SVT Raptor is where the whole desert-truck craze started. Ford took a work truck, widened the track by roughly seven inches, bolted on long-travel Fox internal-bypass shocks and a fender-to-fender flared front end, and sold it as a factory pre-runner you could drive off the lot. This is the debut model year — the first Raptor there ever was.

One honest caveat up front: 2010 is the 5.4-liter Triton V8 year. That three-valve motor makes 310 hp, and it's the softer of the two engines Ford offered in the first generation — the 411-hp 6.2L that most enthusiasts chase arrived for 2011 (and on a handful of late-2010 SuperCabs). Backed by a 6-speed automatic and part-time 4WD, the 5.4 Raptor is still a genuinely capable, genuinely fun truck; it just isn't the powerhouse the later 6.2 trucks are.

Why it matters

First model years matter, and first-gen Raptors (2010-2014) have quietly become collector trucks — clean examples are appreciating rather than depreciating, and the 2010 is the one that started it. Values swing hard on mileage and condition, and Fanathem hasn't published this truck's odometer, which is the single biggest variable in what it's actually worth (see the value notes).

The fine print worth knowing

Fanathem runs a merch-based sweepstakes: entries come attached to product purchases (digital downloads and collectibles), starting at $49 for a single entry, with bulk packs at $79 for 5 and $99 for 10 — so the per-entry cost drops sharply if you buy up. That's a steep price for one shot at a used truck, so go in eyes open. As with any US sweepstakes, the Official Rules are the contract: Fanathem posts a per-promotion rules document, and that's where the eligibility terms and the no-purchase method live — read it before you spend a dollar. And remember a vehicle win is taxable income: budget for a tax bill on roughly $30k, plus title, registration and getting a 16-year-old truck home.

Why It's Special

First model year of the SVT Raptor — the truck that created the factory desert-runner segment. First-gen Raptors (2010-2014) are appreciating as collectibles, though 2010 uses the 310-hp 5.4L V8 rather than the more sought-after 411-hp 6.2L that arrived in 2011, which caps the ceiling somewhat.

Our value estimate

$30,000

No operator ARV is published on Fanathem's giveaway or rules pages, so this is an editorial estimate for a first-year 2010 F-150 SVT Raptor with the 5.4L V8. The odometer and condition are unpublished and are the biggest swing factors: clean, average-mileage 5.4L 2010 Raptors generally trade in the high-$20k to high-$30k range, higher-mile or rougher trucks dip into the low-$20s, and exceptional low-mile examples can push past $40k. The 5.4L trades at a discount to the later 411-hp 6.2L trucks. Anchored at ~$30,000 as a mid-market figure; a confirmed odometer reading or a published ARV would move it in either direction.

Editorial estimate based on recent comparable sales — not an appraisal.
