Power comes from Ford's 6.7-liter High Output Power Stroke V8: 500 hp and the headline 1,200 lb-ft of torque. Worth being clear-eyed about: those are Ford's factory High Output numbers — Hennessey leaves the tune alone, which is exactly why this truck keeps a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty instead of a voided one.

The money went into stance and hardware instead: a BDS 5-inch off-road system with FOX 2.5 remote-reservoir coil-overs (DSC adjustable), 37-inch rubber on lightweight 18-inch 8-lugs, a functional carbon fiber heat-extraction hood plus carbon fender vents, flares, mirror caps and tailgate appliqué, stainless bumpers at both ends, a 50-inch LED light bar, and a cabin redone in black leather and Alcantara with red stitching and serial-numbered plaques. The winner also collects $25,000 in cash (US winners only).

Why it matters

Hennessey has been supercharging half-ton Raptors for years, but this is the first time the Sealy, Texas shop has put its badge on a Super Duty — and the 250-unit serialized run, sold only through authorized Ford dealers, is already commanding dealer asks well above the sticker math.
