Win a 2027 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Convertible from Gas Monkey Garage (GMG #33)

What you're looking at

The ZR1X is the C8 Corvette with every box ticked. It pairs the ZR1's 5.5-liter twin-turbo, flat-plane-crank LT7 V8 with an electric motor driving the front axle, the E-Ray's trick applied to the hardest-hitting Corvette yet. Gas Monkey's spec sheet rates the engine alone at 1,064 hp and 828 lb-ft. With the front motor you get electrified all-wheel drive and a combined output the operator puts at over 1,250 hp, sent through an eight-speed dual-clutch.

The spec sheet also lists:

Jet Black and Adrenaline Yellow interiors and the ZTK Performance Package are shown as options, not confirmed equipment on the prize car. The hybrid side also adds an electric-only Stealth Mode that, per Gas Monkey, covers 4–5 miles at up to 45 mph. Gas Monkey is running the campaign as "Yellow Fury," giveaway GMG #33, and every photo shows a yellow ZR1X convertible with the folding hardtop.

Why it matters

Four-figure horsepower with a factory warranty used to mean a hypercar order book. The ZR1X puts it on a Chevrolet dealer's price list, and early cars have traded well above sticker. The one standard coupe we found at public auction, a six-mile 2026 ZR1X 3LZ, sold for $365,000 on Bring a Trailer in March 2026 against a $249,018 window sticker. A 2027 3LZ coupe now has a $238,395 launch price plus a $2,600 gas-guzzler tax. Gas Monkey's rules value this car at up to $386,396, the top end of that market.

Gas Monkey says it has given away ZR1 and ZR1X cars before. An independent administrator, National Sweepstakes Company, LLC, runs this drawing on or about November 11, 2026 in Newark, New York.

The fine print worth knowing

The cash option is about a third of the car. The rules state: "Grand Prize Winner may opt-in writing to select $129,833USD cash in lieu of the Grand Prize." Against the car's stated value of $386,396, that is roughly 34 cents on the dollar. Separately, if the vehicle is unavailable, the rules let the sponsor pay $386,396 by check instead.

Color and options are the sponsor's call. "Vehicle color, options and accessories to be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor." The rules add that "the vehicle may have mileage," and that the car shown in advertising "may not reflect the actual vehicle onsite at the time the Grand Prize is awarded." The yellow in the campaign is how the car is advertised, not a term of the prize.

Taking delivery. The winner needs a valid driver's license and proof of existing insurance at delivery, and must accept delivery or pick the car up within 7 days of being told it's ready. The winner pays registration, title, license, insurance and all taxes. Total prize ARV is $388,896, which includes an optional $2,500 trip for the winner and two guests to Richard Rawlings' garage in Dallas; the winner can put that $2,500 toward shipping the car instead. Potential winners sign an affidavit and release plus a W-9 (W-8BEN for Canadians) and may be asked to consent to a background check. A Canadian winner must answer a math skill-testing question. Disputes are handled individually, not as class actions, under New York law.

Free entry. A 4" x 6" postcard (no envelopes), hand-printed in black ink with your first name, last name and email and mailed to the address in the official rules, counts as 186 entries. Writing "STICKER" in the bottom right-hand corner doubles that. Mail-in entrants can also claim the site's current multiplier by writing "ADDITIONAL ENTRIES" and the date in the bottom left-hand corner. For mail-in entries that multiplier is capped at 300x; in late September the store's easy-entry packs were running at 350x. Cards must be postmarked by November 2, 2026 and received by November 9.

Paid entry and limits. Purchases earn one entry per dollar, times whatever multiplier the site lists. Easy-entry packs start at $45 for 15,750 entries. Refunds cancel the matching entries, and everyone is capped at 5,000,000 entries regardless of method. Entry is open to the 48 contiguous states and DC (Alaska and Hawaii are excluded) and to Canada outside Quebec. Through October 4 the store is also running GMG #32, a Fox Factory Ram DC650, under its own rules.
