What you're looking at
Dream Giveaway's first Classic Porsche drawing puts up a 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 25th Anniversary Edition, the limited run Porsche built for the U.S. market to mark a quarter-century of the 911. Dream Giveaway says “Only 300 Anniversary Editions were produced,” and that this car is “one of just 60 finished in Satin Black Metallic,” here over Silk Grey leather. The anniversary details the operator lists are contrasting interior piping, velour trunk carpeting, Fuchs alloy wheels with body-color centers and a special center console with an exterior temperature gauge; the car also has a power sunroof, cruise control, power windows and locks, air conditioning and power height-adjustable front seats.
Behind the seats sits the 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six, rated at 215 horsepower on the prize page, driving the rear wheels through the five-speed G50 manual. The odometer reads 60,746 miles. The operator says the car has been maintained from new, retains its “original matching-numbers engine and transmission,” is certified to its Porsche production specifications, and comes with its original owner's manual, service records and tools.
Why it matters
The 1989 model year was the last for the G-Series 911, the impact-bumper generation built since 1974, before the substantially revised 964 took over. That makes an Anniversary Edition a last-year car with a limited-edition badge, and it has the gearbox 3.2 Carrera shoppers look for: the G50 five-speed, which replaced the notchier 915 for 1987.
In this corner of the market, mileage and paperwork set the price. Anniversary coupes with mileage near this car's sold at auction for roughly $100,000 to $112,000 in 2023 and 2024, a one-owner 22,887-mile Satin Black coupe made $122,800 in 2024, and the ex-Jerry Seinfeld car, at about 11,000 miles, reached $172,000 in March 2026. At 60,746 miles this is a car to drive rather than a time capsule, which suits an air-cooled 911.
The fine print worth knowing
- Entering. Tickets are donations to the sponsor, New Beginning Children's Homes, Inc., a 501(c)(3) (Federal ID# 27-5011514). The page lists “Tickets from just $3.00,” and phone entries at 866-600-0646 carry a $25.00 minimum. No donation is required: the free method is one handwritten, self-addressed, postage-paid envelope mailed to NBCH in Largo, Florida, for an entry code, which then has to be registered online or by phone. Requests must be postmarked by the close and arrive within seven days, and codes must be registered within 14 days of the close. The rules' exact wording is below.
- Dates. Entries close at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on February 4, 2027, and an independent firm draws the winner “on or about February 17, 2027.” The rules index at dreamgiveaway.com/rules heads this drawing “Ends Feb 5, 2027”; the Official Rules say they “shall take precedence over all other communications or published materials.”
- Taxes, and the cash option. The $36,000 goes to the IRS withholding, which the rules figure on the car's fair market value on the day it's awarded, “not the approximate current retail value of the Grand-Prize.” If $36,000 doesn't cover it, “the Winner will be required to fund the difference at (or prior) to receiving the Grand-Prize,” and the rules make the winner responsible for all taxes resulting from the prize, federal, state and local. The alternative is “an alternate cash prize of one hundred seven thousand dollars ($107,000.00)”: a check for $80,250, with $26,750 applied to withholding.
- As is, with no promise on originality or mileage. The prize page sells the matching numbers and the 60,746 miles, but the rules state: “For vehicle prizes, no representations as to originality, mileage, or compliance with safety or emissions laws or regulations are made,” and the winner accepts the car “AS IS”, “WHERE IS.” The Administrator can also “substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason.”
- If you win. The winner has ten business days to answer the first contact and seven days from notice to return notarized affidavits and a W-9, must show proof of insurance and a valid driver's license to take the car, and, if Canadian, must first answer a timed math skill-testing question. Disputes go to individual arbitration before the American Arbitration Association.
- Who can enter. Legal residents of the U.S. and Canada (except Quebec), and residents of other countries and territories where permitted by law, 18 or older.

Why It's Special
Dream Giveaway says only 300 Anniversary Editions were produced and that this car is one of just 60 finished in Satin Black Metallic. It is a 1989 car, the final model year of the G-Series 911, and the operator says it retains its original matching-numbers engine and transmission, is certified to its Porsche production specifications, and comes with its original owner's manual, service records and tools.
Our value estimate
$142,500
Anchored to the operator's figure: the Official Rules put the “approximate current retail value of the Grand-Prize” at $178,500, and that total includes $36,000 applied toward the winner's federal tax withholding, which leaves $142,500 for the car. Auction results for comparable Anniversary coupes have come in lower. Recent sales within 10% of this car's 60,746 miles are scarce (a 57,000-mile coupe sold for $112,000 in June 2024), so the comparison widens to about 48,000 miles: a 48,501-mile Silver Metallic coupe made $100,000 on PCARMARKET in May 2024, and a 52,042-mile coupe brought $100,800 at Broad Arrow's Porsche 75th Anniversary auction in October 2023. Lower-mileage cars sit higher: a one-owner, 22,887-mile Satin Black coupe made $122,800 on PCARMARKET in August 2024, and the ex-Jerry Seinfeld car, with about 11,000 miles, reached $172,000 on Bring a Trailer in March 2026. On that evidence the operator's retail figure runs 27% to 43% above what similar-mileage coupes have fetched at auction, while the $107,000 cash alternative lands close to them. Two rules terms bear on value: the sponsor makes “no representations as to originality, mileage” for vehicle prizes and delivers the car as is, and the federal withholding is figured on the car's fair market value at award, with any amount beyond the $36,000 paid by the winner. This is an editorial estimate, not an appraisal.
