The fine print worth knowing

There is also a genuine no-purchase route: a mail-in entry earns two free entries, which is double what $5 buys, and the exact card requirements and mailing address are set out in the operator's official rules.

On timing, purchases must be in by 11:59:59 PM ET on September 25, 2026, but the mail-in window runs slightly longer — entries postmarked by September 26 and received by September 30 still make the drawing, which is set for October 2, 2026. Eligibility covers the 48 contiguous states, DC and Canada excluding Quebec, for licensed drivers at the age of majority.

The part to think hardest about is the tax bill. A $300,000 ARV means an IRS 1099 for the full value if the winner is a US resident, and the $75,000 cash is a cushion rather than a solution — at that prize level most winners will owe more than the cash covers.
