What you're looking at
Giveaway #008 from Houston Street Monsters, a Baytown, Texas build shop ("Built At HSM Headquarters. Driven everywhere."), is a pick-one drawing. The giveaway page lists three cars — "1000HP 2016 CTS V3", "1000HP 2024 S650" and "1000HP 2015 C7 Z06" — alongside "$50,000". The official rules spell out the menu: "One grand "PRIZE" will be awarded out of the 4 options. The Prize options are the following: 1) 2024 Ford Mustang GT with retail value of approximately $100,000 2) 2015 Corvette Z06 with retail value of approximately $100,000 3) 2016 Cadillac Ctsv with a retail value of approximately $100,000 4) $50,000 cash option."
All three start from serious hardware. The 2015 Z06 was the first year of the C7 Z06 and its supercharged 6.2-liter LT4, rated at 650 hp from the factory. The third-generation CTS-V uses a 640-hp version of the same LT4 in a four-door executive sedan. The S650 Mustang GT carries the fourth-generation 5.0-liter Coyote, rated just under 500 hp stock. The 1000HP figure is the operator's claim for each car; the giveaway page and rules don't include a build sheet, dyno sheet or odometer reading for any of them.
Why it matters
Doubling a factory LT4's output is well-trodden ground — a larger or ported blower, fueling, tuning and usually a stronger bottom end — and a naturally aspirated Coyote gets there with forced induction. What separates a good 1,000-hp street car from a fragile one is everything around the engine: cooling (early C7 Z06s were known for heat soak even in stock form), fuel delivery, the transmission and driveline behind that torque, and the quality of the tune. Before choosing, a winner would want the parts list, the dyno sheet and the service history for whichever car they pick. Because the menu includes a sedan, a modern pony car and a mid-cycle Corvette, it's really three different kinds of 1,000-hp car, plus a cash option for anyone who would rather not own one.
The fine print worth knowing
Street-legal status is not promised. The rules' Prize section ends: "SPONSOR CANNOT AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE GRAND PRIZE VEHICLE CAN BE REGISTERED AS STREET LEGAL IN ANY GIVEN STATE." With heavily modified engines, emissions compliance and registration depend on the winner's state. The rules also say: "ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND".
Substitution and delivery. "Prizes are subject to availability and may be changed or modified at Sponsor’s sole discretion." On delivery: "Delivery of the grand prize will be arranged with winner and sponsor following the drawing."
Who can enter. Entrants must be legal residents of the 50 states or DC, "but excluding residents of Alaska and Hawaii", at least 18, and must "possess valid driver’s license issued by a state governmental authority". The Sweepstakes Period "begins at 05:00 p.m. Central Time (CT) on October 12, 2026 and ends at 05:00 p.m. CT on November 12, 2026."
Entry math. Paid entries come with merchandise: "A person may purchase one or more of the items available on the website and will receive entries assigned on each product." The rules don't set a fixed entries-per-dollar ratio, but they do cap everyone at the same number: "EACH ENTRANT CAN RECEIVE A MAXIMUM OF 30,000 ENTRIES, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY ITEMS ARE PURCHASED OR MAILED INDEX CARDS." The free route is up to four handwritten 3x5 index cards, and "Each index card shall constitute 7,500 entries." Four cards × 7,500 = 30,000, so a mail-in entrant can reach the same maximum as a buyer. Mail-in cards "must be postmarked on or before the date on which Entry Period ends and must be received by Sponsor at the address stated above on or before the Entry Period ends", so they have to arrive by the close, not just be mailed by then. The full free-entry text is below.
The drawing and the winner. "The Winner will be announced on or about November 21 , 2026 LIVE ON YOUTUBE “HOUSTON STREET MONSTERS CHANNEL”." The sponsor, Houston Street Monsters LLC, is also named as the Administrator. The winner must return an affidavit and releases "within five (5) calendar days of notification", and "Three alternate drawings will be held, after which the Prize will remain un-awarded." An entrant may also be disqualified at the sponsor's discretion if they have "a pending arrest or conviction for a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude".
Taxes and disputes. "Income taxes on prizes are solely the responsibility of the Winner." and "Entrants winning over $600 in prizes will receive an IRS form 1099-MISC at the end of the calendar year". On a car valued at about $100,000, that is roughly $100,000 of reportable income. Disputes go to individual binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, with a class-action and jury-trial waiver.

Why It's Special
The 2015 Z06 was the first model year of the C7 Z06 and its factory-supercharged LT4. The operator advertises this car, and the other two options, as a 1000HP build.
Our value estimate
$100,000
Anchored to the operator's ARV: the official rules value each car option at "approximately $100,000" (the Mustang GT, Corvette Z06 and CTS-V alike), with a fourth option of "$50,000 cash". Stock-car market references sit well below that: a 49,035-mile 2015 Corvette Z06 asked $59,800 at a dealer (Dec 2024); a 2015 Z06 manual on Bring a Trailer was bid to $50,000 with four days left (Feb 2024; final not seen); C7 Z06s have a median of roughly £62,000 across all model years since 2020 (The Classic Valuer). For the CTS-V, a 108,700-mile 2016 sold for $34,508 on Hagerty Marketplace (Nov 2025), and KBB's fair purchase price for a 2016 is about $55,000. Fewer than three recent, mileage-matched sold comps turned up for any of the three cars, and mileage is unstated for all of them, so this isn't a comps-based figure. The roughly $30,000–$50,000 gap between stock values and the $100,000 ARV would be the 1000HP builds, which the operator doesn't itemize. Heavily modified cars usually resell below what the build cost, so treat $100,000 as the operator's figure, not a resale price. The odometer readings, build sheets and condition would all move it.
