What you're looking at
The ZR1X is the top of the C8 pyramid and, arguably, the most serious performance car America has ever series-produced. Chevrolet took the ZR1's 5.5-liter flat-plane-crank LT7 — twin-turbocharged, 1,064 hp on its own — and bolted the E-Ray's electrified front axle to the nose of it. Total system output is 1,250 hp with eAWD traction off the line, an 8-speed dual-clutch behind the engine, Alcon carbon-ceramic brakes on 16.5-inch rotors with 10-piston front calipers, and Magnetic Ride Control. Chevrolet quotes 233 mph and a 0–60 in the 1.6-second range, which is hypercar arithmetic at a fraction of hypercar money.
This particular car is VIN #11, an early-build 3LZ coupe finished in Blade Silver Metallic over Sky Cool Gray and fitted with the carbon-fiber aero package — front splitter, dive planes, underbody strakes, hood gurney and the tall rear wing that Chevrolet says generates more than 1,200 lbs of downforce at speed. It is the same chassis Gas Monkey put up in June; that winner, listed on the site as Chris W. from Bakersfield, elected the cash instead, so the car went back on the board for a second run.
Why it matters
Halo Corvettes with two-digit VINs do not sit still. A 6-mile black ZR1X coupe with a $249,018 sticker brought $365,000 on Bring a Trailer in March 2026, and the limited-run Quail Silver cars have been trading between $452,000 and $605,000 at Mecum and on BaT through the spring and summer. That froth will fade as Bowling Green fills the order bank — it always does — but a low-VIN, carbon-aero 3LZ is the version most likely to hold a premium once it does. The honest read: this is a car you'd keep, not a car you'd flip in a hurry and expect May money for.
The caveat worth stating plainly is mileage. The Official Rules say the Corvette "may include mileage at the Sponsor's discretion," and no odometer figure is published anywhere on the giveaway page. A delivery-miles car and a car that has done a season of show duty are not the same asset.
The fine print worth knowing
Entries are earned at one per dollar spent sitewide, with a multiplier the operator advertises on the site — the current entry packages price out at 300 entries per dollar ($45 for 13,500 entries at the low end, up to $999.99 for 300,000). The free route is a plain 4x6 postcard, no envelopes, worth 51 entries; write "STICKER" in the bottom right corner to double it and "ADDITIONAL ENTRIES" plus the date in the bottom left to claim the same multiplier paid entries get. That last detail matters — it is what keeps the free path competitive rather than decorative. Postcards must be postmarked by August 27, 2026 and received by September 3, 2026. The full mailing address is in the operator's Official Rules, reproduced in the free-entry section of this listing.
The drawing is scheduled for September 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. ET in Newark, NY, run by National Sweepstakes Company, LLC as independent administrator. The winner is on the hook for registration, taxes and insurance after delivery, and federal tax on a prize of this size is not a small number — budget accordingly. There is a cash-in-lieu election, but it is $87,333 against a Grand Prize ARV of $267,500, so taking the money is a steep discount on the car.
One more thing to check for yourself before you spend: Gas Monkey's own rules-index page and the Official Rules it links to do not currently agree on this giveaway. The index lists the ZR1X as ending 9/10/26, open to residents of "the 50 US or DC," and "Subject to Official Rules available at sharedsweeps.com/rules" — a separate, pooled $100,000 cash sweepstakes run by Shared Sweeps LLC. The GMG #30 Part II Official Rules say entry closes 11:59:59 p.m. PT on September 3, 2026, restrict eligibility to the 48 contiguous states and DC, and describe only the car and the trip. Read the linked Official Rules, not the summary, and know which document you're entering under.

Why It's Special
Gas Monkey identifies this as ZR1X VIN #11 — an early-build car from the first wave out of Bowling Green, and the same chassis that headlined the operator's June drawing before that winner took cash instead of the keys. CorvetteBlogger reported the car as a 3LZ coupe fitted with the carbon-fiber aero package, the setup Chevrolet credits with more than 1,200 lbs of downforce at speed — the most of any production Corvette. Low-VIN halo Corvettes have historically carried a collector premium over identically specced later cars.
Our value estimate
$265,000
Gas Monkey's Official Rules describe the vehicle as "one (1) 2026 Corvette ZR1X having a value not to exceed $265,000USD," with the full Grand Prize — car plus the Dallas trip — carrying a stated ARV of $267,500. We carry the $265,000 car-only figure here and put the trip in extras. That number is close to this specific car's window sticker: CorvetteBlogger reported VIN #11 as a 3LZ coupe in Blade Silver Metallic over Sky Cool Gray with the carbon aero package at $261,850 MSRP. Open-market ZR1X results have run higher, but the three most recent public sales are all Quail Silver Limited Edition convertibles — $473,000 at Mecum Harrisburg in July 2026, $605,000 at Mecum Indy in May 2026, and $452,000 on Bring a Trailer in May 2026 — and that limited edition carries its own premium, so none is a like-for-like comp for a standard-paint coupe. The closest coupe comp we found is a black 6-mile ZR1X with a $249,018 sticker that brought $365,000 on Bring a Trailer in March 2026. Early-2026 auction froth like that is already cooling as production ramps, which is why we stay anchored to the operator's ARV rather than the auction highs. One caveat that moves the number: the rules state the Corvette "may include mileage at the Sponsor's discretion," so the odometer is not published — a delivery-mileage car sits at the top of this range, a car that has done show and demo duty sits below it. And note the rules cap the winner's cash-in-lieu election at $87,333, roughly a third of the stated ARV, so the car itself is where the value lives.
