What you're looking at

The prize is a 2015 Audi RS 5: the B8-generation coupe that closed out an era for Audi Sport. Under the hood is the 4.2-liter FSI V8 — naturally aspirated, redlined at a frankly absurd 8,250 rpm, and good for 450 horsepower through a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch and quattro all-wheel drive. The very next RS 5 swapped this engine for a twin-turbo V6 that makes similar power but none of the same noise. If you care how a car sounds at full chat, this is the one to have. Phantom 4 hasn't published the car's trim, color, or mileage, so treat those as unknowns. The winner can take the car plus $5,000 cash, or skip the car and take $20,000 all cash.

The fine print worth knowing

This is a purchase-incentive sweepstakes, branded P402. You earn entries by buying merch or Quick Entry products ($47 Gold up to $997 Sapphire), with bonus multipliers during promos. You do not have to buy anything to win. The free route (AMOE) is a hand-printed 3x5 card mailed to the Macedon, NY PO box, worth 500 entries — postmarked by September 14, received by September 19. The sweepstakes runs June 12 through September 14, 2026, drawing on or about September 21, administered by American Sweepstakes. Open to U.S. residents 18+. The winner is responsible for taxes — on a ~$33k prize plus cash, plan for a real bill.

Why It's Special

The B8 RS 5 is the last RS 5 to use Audi's high-revving 4.2 FSI V8 — a naturally aspirated, 8,250-rpm engine replaced by a twin-turbo 2.9 V6 in the next generation. 2015 was the final model year for this body style in the U.S.

Our value estimate

$33,000

Phantom 4's official rules state an ARV of $20,000, but that tracks the $20,000 all-cash alternative rather than current used-market value. Real comps run higher: a 2015 RS 5 (~43k mi) sold on Bring a Trailer for $31,000 (Nov 2025), one with ~42k mi brought $37,250 (Oct 2025); CLASSIC.COM lists the 1st-gen RS 5 Coupe average ~$30,468. With the prize also including $5,000 cash, ~$33,000 is reasonable. The operator's stated ARV is $20,000 and is the legally binding figure.

Editorial estimate based on recent comparable sales — not an appraisal.
