Why it matters

No donation is necessary — the official rules lay out a handwritten mail-in entry route, and free entries receive the same bonus multipliers as the highest paid offer available at the time. The winner can take both cars with the $52,000 pointed at IRS withholding, or elect a $125,000 cash alternative — well under the package's stated value, which is typical of these promotions, but real money with zero logistics. Either way, the prize is taxable income, so budget beyond the included $52,000.
