The build: what you're looking at

This isn't a fresh-off-the-lot Tacoma — it's a 2007, a second-generation truck Flag Nor Fail has worked over into a trail-ready rig. The 2007 Tacoma is one of the more durable mid-size platforms of its era, and FNF has loaded it with the kind of bolt-ons buyers normally chase one box at a time. It rides on a 3.5-inch lift with M1 struts and shocks and forged upper control arms, rolling 35x12.50R17 Badlands M/T tires on 17x9 Rough Country wheels in semi-gloss black. Custom front and rear bumpers, a 40-inch LED light bar with supplemental LED kits, an 8-gang Bluetooth RGB switch panel, and a 14.5-cubic-foot hard-shell rooftop box round out a build meant to be driven, not trailered.

The fine print worth knowing

The appeal is value-per-dollar of entry, not collectibility. The suspension, tires, wheels, bumpers and lighting represent real money stacked on a platform that famously refuses to die — just go in eyes-open on the donor (a high-teens-year-old truck whose long-term value rides on mileage and condition the sponsor hasn't published). Entries are bought at $1 each, capped at 3,000 entries per person, June 16 to July 31, 2026 (MT), winner drawn on or about August 7. There is a free mail-in route — a 3x5 card for 100 entries per envelope. The prize is a $10,000 truck plus $1,000 cash toward taxes ($11,000 ARV), but the winner is solely responsible for all taxes — and that $1,000 won't fully cover the bill. There's also an $8,000 cash alternative, which tells you what the sponsor thinks the package is worth in liquid terms.

Why It's Special

Not rare in the collector sense; the draw is the build. This is a second-gen Tacoma worked over by Flag Nor Fail into a turnkey trail truck on 35s. The 2007 Tacoma is a durable platform, but value here is in the bolt-on work, not the donor.

Our value estimate

$11,000

Sponsor lists the ARV at $11,000 ($10,000 truck + $1,000 cash for taxes). Consistent with comps: KBB private-party for a 2007 Tacoma runs ~$5,775-$11,400 by cab/bed/condition, market listings average ~$14,000 (range ~$5,000-$22,000). A clean lifted example on new 35s lands upper-band, so $10K reads fair-to-conservative. Worth noting the sponsor's own cash alternative is only $8,000 — the more honest signal of liquidation value. Mileage and trim undisclosed and would move this materially.

Editorial estimate based on recent comparable sales — not an appraisal.
