The money question

The official rules describe the prize as one Chevrolet Silverado or $10,000 cash — and the wording matters. The rules say the prize is awarded "at the sponsor discretion and subject to prize availability," which means the sponsor, not the winner, decides whether you get the truck or the ten grand. A $10,000 cash figure next to a full custom truck build is a wide gap, and with no published value or specs on the Silverado, that cash number is the only hard figure the operator has committed to. Weigh your entry spend accordingly.

The fine print worth knowing
