What you're looking at
The GT4 RS is the 718 Cayman taken as far as Porsche was willing to take it: the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six from the 911 GT3 family wedged behind the seats of the mid-engine coupe, revving to 9,000 rpm. Dream Giveaway's car is a 2025 — the final model year of the gasoline Cayman — rated by the operator at 493 horsepower, with the 7-speed PDK (there was never a manual GT4 RS) and a quoted 0–60 mph time of 3.2 seconds.
The spec is the one you'd pick for a poster: Racing Yellow over a Black Leather/Race-Tex interior with Arctic Grey stitching, the factory Weissach Package (exposed carbon on the front trunk lid and rear wing), the Chrono Package, Satin Black wheels with Racing Yellow outer lips, High Gloss Black calipers and door handles, Racing Yellow seat belts, and LED headlights with PDLS. Dream Giveaway quotes an original MSRP of $189,395.
Why it matters
Porsche built the GT4 RS for drivers rather than spec-sheet racers, and the market treated it that way: dealer markups at launch, then a collector following once it was clear the 718 line would end without a successor in this form. Weissach cars are the ones people hunt for. The car's mileage isn't published, and it would move the value either way — a delivery-mile example and a car with a few thousand miles of road use trade at noticeably different numbers.
The fine print worth knowing
What the Grand Prize actually is. The official rules read: "One (1) Grand-Prize will be awarded consisting of one 2025 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4RS plus $54,000.00 to be applied toward the winner's IRS withholding requirement for federal income taxes (approximate current retail value of the Grand-Prize is $255,899.00)". Take out the $54,000 tax payment and the rules value the car itself at $201,899.
The tax payment is a fixed sum. "If the cash portion of the Grand-Prize, should any exist, not fulfill the withholding requirement calculated by applying the IRS gross-up formula to the net fair market value of the grand-prize at the time of the award, the Winner will be required to fund the difference at (or prior) to receiving the Grand-Prize." In other words, $54,000 is the ceiling of what the sponsor pays toward federal withholding (about 21% of the $255,899 package); any shortfall is the winner's to cover before taking delivery, and "Grand-Prize Winner is responsible for all taxes resulting from winning the Grand-Prize including all federal, state and local, taxes, fees, assessments and like charges."
Cash option. The rules offer "an alternate cash prize of one hundred seventy thousand dollars ($170,000.00), subject to IRS withholding requirements. If winner selects cash option, he or she will receive a check for $127,500.00. Additionally a withholding payment in the amount of $42,500.00 will also be applied to the winner’s IRS withholding." That is $127,500 in hand plus $42,500 sent to the IRS (25% of $170,000).
Condition and substitution. "For vehicle prizes, no representations as to originality, mileage, or compliance with safety or emissions laws or regulations are made", the winner takes the car AS IS, WHERE IS, and "Administrator reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason."
Conditions on the winner. A selected winner who "fails to respond to the Administrator's initial contact within ten (10) business days" is replaced by an alternate. After notification, the winner must return "within 7 days of the date notice is sent, a notarized affidavit of eligibility, a notarized prize selection affidavit, IRS W-9 form, liability/publicity release (except where prohibited)", and "the Grand-Prize Winner must provide proof of insurance and a valid driver's license in order to receive any vehicle included in a Grand Prize." A Canadian winner "must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill testing question administered by telephone." Disputes go to American Arbitration Association arbitration, and claims "will be resolved individually, without respect to any form of class or representative action."
Entering. Online tickets start at $3.00; by phone, "Minimum donation using this method is $25.00." The free route is a mailed request for an entry code, which you then register online or by phone — the full text is below. Entry closes April 15, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, and "On or about April 28, 2027, an independent firm will randomly and electronically select one Conditional Grand Prize Winner and two Alternate Conditional Winners from among all valid Dream Giveaway tickets." "You do not need to be present to win." The sponsor is New Beginning Children's Homes, Inc., a 501(c)(3) (Federal ID# 27-5011514); donations are described as tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Open to the U.S. and Canada (except Quebec), 18 and older.

Our value estimate
$201,899
Anchored to the operator's figure: the official rules put the approximate retail value of the Grand Prize at $255,899, which includes $54,000 applied toward federal withholding, leaving $201,899 for the car (the operator quotes an original MSRP of $189,395). Recent market for 2025 GT4 RS Weissach cars: one example recorded sold at $185,000 in January 2026, a 698-mile Shark Blue car went unsold at auction, and dealer asking prices for 2025 Weissach cars ran roughly $190,000–$224,000. Fewer than three closed sales could be confirmed, so this stays on the operator's figure. The odometer reading is unpublished and would move the number — a delivery-mile car sits at the top of that range. The $54,000 tax payment and the $170,000 cash alternative are not included in this figure.
