The R35 GT-R is the last car Nissan built the old way. Every VR38DETT twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 was assembled by one Takumi technician in a clean room in Yokohama, and that technician's name went on a plaque bolted to the intake manifold. A 2019 car like this one is from the late, post-facelift run — 565 horsepower from the factory, the improved interior, the wider torque plateau. Nissan has since ended R35 production with nothing on sale to replace it.

This one is not stock. ENRFORCE credits Endless Garage with a Boost Logic turbo upgrade, a full E85 conversion and a titanium exhaust, good for a claimed 850 wheel horsepower. Read that number carefully: 850 at the wheels, not at the crank, which through a GT-R's all-wheel-drive driveline implies something comfortably north of 1,000 at the flywheel. That is exactly the territory a Boost Logic 750X-class kit lives in once you feed it corn fuel and a proper fuel system, so the claim reads as plausible rather than fantasy. The official rules state the car has covered approximately 29,000 miles.

What hasn't been published is the trim, the colors, or the supporting hardware — whether the transmission has been opened up, what clutch packs are in it, and who holds the tune.

Why it matters

R35 values have gone the wrong way for buyers over the past year. With production finished and the next GT-R promised as a hybrid, a car that spent a decade as the sensible fast-car bargain has stopped depreciating and started climbing; mid-2026 retail asks for similar-mileage Premiums sit well into six figures. A big-turbo E85 build won't track those clean-stock numbers exactly — modified cars always sell to a smaller room — but the platform underneath is appreciating rather than sliding, which is not something you could say about it three years ago.

And an 850-whp GT-R is genuinely, stupidly fast in a way the stock car isn't. The stock car is quick and unflappable. This one is a different animal off the line, and it will embarrass things wearing badges that cost five times as much.

The fine print worth knowing

The honest caveats, in order of how much they'll cost you. The GR6 dual-clutch is the R35's known weak point once power climbs and launches get enthusiastic — clutch packs and gearsets are the usual casualties, and a transmission rebuild is a serious bill. E85 means you need a station that actually stocks it and you need to be mindful of fuel sitting in the tank if the car is parked for months. And with 29,000 miles on a modified car, service history, tune files and clutch history are the paperwork that matters most.

On mechanics: ENRFORCE's official rules put the car's ARV at $70,000 and the cash at $30,000, for a $100,000 grand prize. Taxes are yours. The rules make the winner solely responsible for federal, state and local taxes plus title, registration, dealer fees, insurance and everything else — which is largely what the $30,000 cash is there to absorb, and on a $100,000 prize it may not fully cover it.
